He is an International Researcher at the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong. He is an emerging expert in the field of international trade law and Intellectual Property Law.

After admission into the legal profession in Nigeria and has practiced as a counsel at D. Akin Akintoye Chambers before he joined Landmark University as a law academic in 2014.

The Government of Hong Kong fully funds his ongoing research, and he was also a recipient of the World Intellectual Property Organization's Scholarship for the IP Summer School in South Korea, 2019.

His scholarship focuses on the Intersections between Public Health, Intellectual Property Law and International Trade Law. He holds a visiting position at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition Law, Munich Germany.

He has published extensively in different highly ranked refereed international journals such as; Queen Mary Journal of Intellectual Property(Edward Elgar Publishing),Globalization and Health( Springer Nature) , Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Practice (Oxford University Press), Asian Journal of WTO and International Health Law & Policy, Journal of International Trade Law and Policy etc.

His goal is to carry out legal practice, teaching and research at the cutting edge of legal scholarship.
